AmeyCespa (East) Waste Management Park
The 400 acre park is designated as a major waste facility in Cambridgeshire County Council’s Minerals and Waste local Plan and therefore, as well as the existing facilities listed below the park may well see future developments. These will arise as Cambridgeshire’s population increases, new businesses come into the area and the nature of waste changes.
Environment We have strict environmental policies which we operate under and we have carried out a number of site reclamation schemes which have brought despoiled land back to agricultural or amenity use. Our 400 acre AmeyCespa (East) site is a haven for wildlife, particularly birds. The rough grazing on the restored landfill is home to a variety of plants and animals including bee orchids, barn owls, tawny owls, skylarks and the brown hare.
